Brother Miller

In one of our prayer letters of 2008 we requested for someone to come to St. Lucia for an extended mission trip. Brother Dave Miller is the man that answered the call. Brother Miller flew into St. Lucia on April 14. He has been a great help for us thus far. On April the 15th our container of tracts arrived in St. Lucia. He helped us to unload the container and to organize the 200 boxes of tracts. In the past two weeks. He has been visiting either with us alone five times, ran several errands in town for us, copied lessons for our Bible Institute, and made a couple of repairs around the house. He is staying across the street in a vacant house that is owned by another mission organization. The house does not have hot water, a refrigerator, or a stove. That's almost like being in boot camp. Brother Miller will be staying with us until June the 15th. We praise the Lord for him coming. Keep us all in your prayers.

Another Soul Saved

This has been a very eventful two weeks. The container arrived. Brother Miller came from Indiana for a mission trip. We had three get saved last week on visitation. Then, last night there a teenage girl got saved at Solid Rock Baptist Church. I was not there for the service because I was preaching at Vision Baptist, the church we are starting. My e-mail is down right now and this is the only way I am getting news out at this time. God Bless and stay in touch.

Church material has arrived.

I would love to write a longer post, but I am really running short on time. I did want you to see a couple pictures of the container of tracts and church material that came last week. It is a blessing to see all the work that Christians have put forth to put these materials in our hand. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Brother David Wood with Frontline Global Missions, Allen Johnson with Bearing Precious Seed, my pastor (and dad) Terry Brock and Light of Calvary Baptist, and Monica’s family for their help and financial contributions to make all this possible.

Born again on Easter

On Easter Sunday we had a visitor from Martinique. The lady is an aunt to Blade, one of our preachers at Solid Rock. During the service Blade had to translate for her. During the invitation Blade took her to the back of the church where she received Christ as her Saviour. Praise the Lord!!!

Happy Easter

The weeks and months are passing quickly.  The family is doing well, the weather is getting warmer again, and the churches are hanging in there.  We have been waiting for a container of tract and other materials for several months.  We were told this week that the container was now in St. Lucia and ready for delivery.  However, we have to wait for the Easter holidays to expire. We have a friend from Indiana coming down for a mission trip.  Brother Miller will be staying for several weeks to help us organize the 200 boxes of tract from the container. 2009 04 05
